Rewiew
"The Gold Orange” is a book written in English by Anastasia Ioakimidou and illustrated by Ioanna Valvi.
“The Gold Orange” by Komninos publisher in Greece is a picturebook about a Greek family living in Japan and growing a strange, fruitful little tree from Greece in their front-yard. This
tree is a much travelled tree and full of “surprises”. Whoever reads “The Gold Orange” learns what connects Greece, China and Japan in a magnificent way. The book shares educational, historical and agricultural information. Interesting activities for kids are included at the end of the book. The illustrations are vivid, colorful and expressing the text in the best way.
An ideal representative of the story.
The book is ideal for first and second grade school children. “The Gold Orange” engages students and teachers in discovering new worlds on diversity and globalization at the same time. Teachers can use it as a classroom kit to talk about what makes us related, to talk about facts and enjoy a pleasant story with children. Lesson plans can be created, using the book as a tool and working on internationalization, localization and globalization.
A new book, just published in Greece, January of 2023, by Komninos books, offering great knowledge about impressive similarities three different countries and its people experience.
Total amount of pages 46.
The book can be found in the online shop of the publisher: komninos.shop.gr
